I am a perfectionist in my work and I take pride in everything I do in work and life. I love being an electrician which means I have genuine passion in my workmanship and professional development.  I have over 24 years vast and varied experience across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. I have worked hard over the years to earn and achieve top industry recognised qualifications and approvals to the highest levels in electrical engineering. The level of customer service I provide I believe is second to none of which is demonstrated by the several hundred customer reviews I have worked hard for across various consumer protection systems. I treat people and their homes as I would want to be treated, with respect, politeness and an overall amazing customer service. I am a small family business of which my reputation and standards are what I build everything upon. I will offer an honest, professional service where everything transparent and to your absolute satisfaction. I founded Pure Electric in 2007 when I decided to go 'self employed' and I have not looked back. I have worked all over the UK and I have clients all over Dorset, in London and even remote clients around the world who have property here in Dorset and trust me to look after their homes. I strive to provide a fair, open and honest service with excellent value for money. So if you have a small job, an electrical fault or would like a safety check of your electrics contact Lee today via phone, message or email.

Lee Ward LCIBSE MICWCI MIET MACQP EngTech

Are all Electricians qualified the same?

You deserve to make an informed decision as per the standard of person you employ and checking qualifications and comparing is the best way to achieve this. I am very proud to have been awarded as a certified member (MIET) of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (The IET).  In addition to this, I am also the proud holder of a JIB Graded Gold Card: Approved Electrician. Very few (if any) ”Part P Domestic Installers” provide this peace of mind regarding expertise and competence. I am also a certified Engineering Technician (EngTech) via the Engineering Council and also an electrical Clerk of Works (MICWCI). Very few Electricians achieve such standards which I have worked hard to achieve for my customers benefit. You are welcome to see my qualifications in order to know you are employing excellence in electrical engineering. However some Domestic Electricians can be registered with an approval body from as little as 18 days of training, yes 18 days! Short course qualified 'Domestic Installers' are not 'Electricians' in the opinion of many within the industry. So how would you know the difference when we all have the same approval body logo's? Easy, ask to see qualifications and compare the level and quantity as you will see huge differences.

I am a qualified and professionally registered Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council and a fully accredited member of several respected industry bodies including the Association of Construction Quality Professionals and the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectors.

My background covers a wide range of construction, compliance, inspection and quality assurance work. I specialise in ensuring that buildings and installations meet the required technical, safety and legal standards. My approach is thorough, practical and based on clear evidence.

Clients come to me when they need reliable assessments, professional oversight and an honest appraisal of what is safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

Being EngTech MIET means I have been formally recognised for my technical competence and my commitment to high professional standards. It reflects my ability to apply engineering judgement, interpret regulations correctly and deliver work that stands up to scrutiny.

My aim is simple. To provide clear guidance, dependable inspections and a service that gives clients confidence in the work being carried out. I believe in integrity, accuracy and professional transparency at every stage of a project.

If you need an experienced, qualified and highly focused professional for inspections, quality assurance or compliance work, I am here to help.

In the UK less than 1% of electricians take their expertise this far or this seriously so rest assured you are in very safe hands.

Not all 'electricians' are qualified, trained, experienced or work to the same high standards, so the best advice is always compare carefully.

Electrotechnical Engineering Excellence.
