If something has not met your expectations, please contact me so I can understand the issue and try to resolve it fairly, professionally and promptly.

How to raise a concern

Please contact me as soon as reasonably possible and explain the issue, the work involved and any information that may help me review what has happened. For a formal complaint, email or letter is preferred so there is a clear written record.

What happens next

I will acknowledge a complaint as soon as possible and within seven days at the latest. I will review the information available, contact you if anything needs clarification and aim to offer an appropriate course of action within 28 days.

If remedial work is agreed, I will arrange it as soon as reasonably practicable. I will keep you informed if an issue needs further investigation or cannot be resolved immediately.

Resolving complaints

Where a complaint is upheld, I will discuss an appropriate way to put matters right in line with your consumer rights. If a complaint is not upheld, I will explain the reasons. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Which? Trusted Traders alternative dispute resolution

Pure Electric is a Which? Trusted Trader and has access to an independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) service for eligible domestic installation, service, repair and maintenance disputes that cannot be resolved through the business complaints process. Customers can contact Which? Trusted Traders on 02922 670 040 to ask whether their complaint is eligible and how to use the service.

NICEIC complaints process

Pure Electric is a NICEIC Approved Contractor. If a complaint about the technical standard of NICEIC-certified electrical work cannot be resolved directly, NICEIC may be able to assist where the matter falls within its complaints scope. NICEIC asks customers to contact their contractor first and allow time for a response before escalating a qualifying technical complaint.
